My October Favourites

Hello everyone, I hope you all had an amazing week. I have been super busy lately, however my October favourites has helped me get through this busy month. On the 9th October it was also my birthday so I will feature some beautiful gifts that I received.

Monthly favourites, are my favourite type of blogs. I love discovering new products and reading peoples reviews and also finding out where to purchase these products and the cost price. Everything that I have included I love so much, and believe you all should invest.

My beautiful Brush set

My amazing best-friends gave me these as my birthday present, and I absolutely love them.  They’re from a brand called Innovation Beauty, it includes a 5 piece essential mermaid oval brush set.  Including a small round brush for eye shadow or lip colour, the largest brush for blusher or contour, then on the slight smaller side a foundation brush, and finally another brush which is long in length designed for eye shadow or contour.

These brushes are truly amazing, and have become apart of my every day make up routine. My favourite two brushes are – the largest one for blusher/powder and the smallest round brush for eye shadow. I know that these oval brushes have been out a while, but it was only recently that I managed to get my hands on them. I would certainly recommend, they are a beautiful design in which they come in a beautiful box, they are super soft and clean super well ( I use real Techniques cleaning brush gel, which costs £7.50 from Boots/Superdrug.)

Alien Perfume

My Favourite scent of all time is Alien eau de Parfum by Thierry Mugler. I have used this perfume for 2-3 years now, however last year I ran out. I always believe perfume to be one of them things that you don’t usually buy for yourself, but receive it as a present. Therefore for my birthday I  was lucky enough to receive TWO bottles of this perfume. One size being 30ml and the other 60ml. I certainly have enough to last me a while.

Describing the scent of a perfume is always difficult, but I believe the only way to describe this one is – Rich,Strong and sexy ( Like every woman would love to be right?) I have looked online for how the perfume is actually described and I have  found it to be on the 3 main lines of ‘  floral, woody and amber revelations’. These three combinations mixed together are truly wonderful. The scent and design of the bottle are inspired by a  precious gemstone which is charged with positive energy. The design of the bottle is my favourite, it’s in the shape of a strange object, almost like a philosophers stone, with a deep mysterious purple colour. Many of the reviews relate it to a woman similar to a witch. ( Which fits in well with it being one of my October favourites & Halloween coming up)

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

This is one of my own purchases this October. Im usually a Clarins type of girl, however I have heard so many good things about Liz Earle and have been dying to give it a go. I went for a wonder into my local Boots and I FINALLY saw a Liz Earle stand, I knew from that minute I was going to purchase something. The question was – what do I treat myself too? I decided to start simple and try the Cleanse&polish hot cloth cleanser. I am super happy with this purchase, with it getting close to winter and the weather getting a lot colder, my skin seems to get super dry. Therefore my skin needs something refreshing and cleansing.

First of all gently massage one or two pumps onto dry skin, then use the cotton rich cloth rinsed in warm/hot water to gently polish the cream off. It’s as simple as that! It leaves you feeling squeaky clean, and skin looking radiant and soft, just what you need now we are getting closer to winter.

It comes in a little green pouch, with a bottle 50ml of the cream and a little soft cloth next to it. The pouch is reusable, and from now on I couldn’t be without this product. I am super excited to try many more products from there. If anyone has any recommendations of what I should purchase next please please let me know.  This is available in many Boots stores, the size I purchased was £ 10.99, however it is also available in 100ml for £16.00. ( Remember to collect Boots points )

Let me know if you have tried any of these, and let me know your opinions, or if you have any suggestions of products you think I will love.

Here’s to the start of November,

Hannah Jayde
