Hey guys, I have been making many notes on what blogs I should do next, and I feel like one about my life in general is a good start. To start with I am in my final year at university studying french. I spent two years in Paris which was absolutely amazing and all thanks to my parents for the help and support of me being able to accept that opportunity and move to Paris for two years. I am now in my FINAL year and completely petrified of what the future holds. However I am a firm believer in ‘what will be will be’. I cannot wait to graduate and be proud of myself and what I have achieved. After all, I never thought I was going to university till last minute, but after 4 hard years it was certainly the right decision. Let me know what you guys are up too? which uni are you at? what course you studying? do you love it?
I currently have two jobs in which I only work part time. I work for my parents who have their own business and also a bakery in Lincolnshire. Being their little accountant means learning lots of new things and being able to use lot’s of computer software and working in a bakery means lots of fresh cream cakes and tiger bread, best of both worlds right?! HOWEVER trying to balance both jobs and university is VERY hard!
I have a daily struggle of always wanting to sleep, take blog pictures, write about my blog oh go to work and do university coursework and in between trying to eat healthy and pop to the gym. Life can get very stressful at times, especially when you are financially independent and need to do your best at uni, go to work and pay the bills. There is more to life than just a ‘daily routine’ I always try and fit something exciting in during the week, whether that be going for a meal with chris, a night away in London with my mum, or a coffee with my girls. Life can get stuck in a rut, but I try my best to make the most of each day and enjoy life as much as possible.
Overall even with these daily stresses I am super happy and content in my life, I live with my boyfriend and I couldn’t imagine living with anyone else. I live around the corner from my parents and grandparents too. However roll on SEPTEMBER 2018 when myself and chris go travelling to Australia for a year! I am so so excited, just trying to put away the pennies at the moment, and hopefully will be booking our flights in the new year. Hope you’re ready for many blog posts on OZ. What are your plans for the future? Would love to speak to anyone who’s been traveling to OZ or is planning on it.
