Lincoln Christmas market

Lincoln Christmas market

Who doesn’t love Christmas markets? This weekend just gone was my hometowns market, however, due to a forecast of snow the market on Sunday got canceled. I really wanted to pop back round and grab myself some bargains and also take loads more pictures for this blog post, however, I couldn’t, such a shame. I was also due to meet a fellow blogger, which I was so gutted about because she didn’t end up coming, her blog is absolutely amazing I will link her blog here – be sure to check her out!

If you want to get into the festive spirit what better place than a Christmas market? The smell of all the different foods, mulled wine, spiced cider, the flashing lights from the rides and the market stalls. I love wandering around them even if there are hundreds of people getting in the way. This year I was really impressed with the Lincoln market as it was all spaced out and really easy to get around, unlike previous years where it has been utter chaos.  Many children and adults enjoying all the different types of rides ranging from the big wheel to the carousel and even the waltz. If ever you have any problems on the rides be sure to click here for help and compensation!

I and Chris went for a wonder Friday night and ended up spending a fortune on food and drink, but I thought heyho it’s once a year!  We had mulled wine, followed by burgers and doughnuts – absolutely incredible! I really wanted to treat myself to a gorgeous orange scented smelling Christmas reef, however, my plan was to go back on Sunday and pick one up, but I didn’t get a chance. Also, a fellow blogger friend from Lincoln also visited the market and took some gorgeous pictures (So much better than mine!!) and she got some amazing snaps of the orange scented reef I wanted. I really hope she didn’t purchase one as I’ll be super jealous! I will link her beautiful blog here Please have a look at her blog, it’s amazing and she’s even doing blogmas!

Our Christmas market is just amazing, with all the history, with the castle and cathedral it just makes it perfect. Even if you are super skint, just going for a browse and getting in the Christmas spirit is fun. Are you heading to any Christmas markets? I would love some recommendations for ones I should visit!

Much Love

Thank you so much for mentioning me in this post! ❤️

I didn’t end up getting the orange wreath but I was OBSESSED with the spiced orange stall! (Although it was so expensive!) I was taking photos and the guy was obviously getting annoyed with me and kept saying how he should charge people for photos haha!

I absolutely love the Christmas Market at Lincoln, it just makes you feel so festive! I’m glad you had a lovely time gorgeous!
